Simply lovely!
Main entrance of Ootoya Clementi |
Beware of the operating hours! Typical one. |
When you just step in, this is what you will see. |
Rather pleasant, clean looking place. |
If you sit in the tatami area, you can also see what goes inside the kitchen! |
Green tea here is good! It's only $1 and refillable. They have choice of hot and cold. |
Moving on to menu! |
Definitely one of our favorites! |
It's set meal. Yea, the portion's not huge :( |
Rice and miso soup are refillable and you can choose different rice. Multi grain rice is free and refillable! |
This kind of hotpots are quite popular. I also tried zosui and it was good! (if you are fine with homey taste) |
It was quite good. Portion is soso. |
This one's also not so bad. Traditional Japanese taste, according to bf. For this one, a la carte will do! Torotoroni is the soup I think. You may have to check with the waiter. |
Before you start eating, warm chawanmushi can be soothing. $3 is also affordable though it's not big. |
You scoop mousse, whip cream, banana ice cream and red bean together! Super duper yum!! |
Closer to real color |
This one's second best. I don't know, at least for me, I don't like anything else apart from these two. |
It can be quite eggy so if you hate such taste, maybe you won't like it. But definitely worth giving a try! You may be surprised :) |
Yummm~ |
Some other desserts.. If you like parfe, maybe you will like this one. Not bad. Just don't feel like coming back here just for this one. |
Somehow couldn't rotate the pictures. In terms of taste, it's definitely worth it, but in terms of portion.. Well, typical Japanese I'd say. |
Anyways, have fun at Ootoya!
